If you haven't noticed yet, Chloe and I are very busy - especially in the summer. Yesterday we took the opportunity to have some fun at the water park near our house. It's lovingly called "The Splash Pad" because it's a park full of sprinklers, fountains, and hoses that shoot water. It's perfect for young children because it's not a pool where a parent has to worry about their child swimming in another child's urine or other water-related accidents. I'm pretty sure C would move there if she could. Her expressions and squeals of sheer delight say only one thing: "This is the coolest place EVER!"

hi amanda - it's ambir from litchfield....now st. louis park. i actually do read the blogs that i've come across and i was SO thankful yesterday to read this post about the waterpark. we are literally less than one mile away and i had no idea it existed!
it was such a scorcher yesterday and i was more than excited to take my leo to the park last night after daycare. i wonder when i would have found out about it if it wasn't for you? i'm very grateful that we have a fun and free place to go and play this summer!
maybe leo and i will run into you gals at the park sometime! hope you are having a fantastic summer.
